Vintage Brass & Glass Console Table 1970s
ART DECO REVIVAL
We were in love when we saw this beautifully made sidetable. The horizontal design reminded me of the minimalistic Art Deco style from the 1920’s. The geometric but slender golden brass frame, together with the two heavy levels of finely cut glass with a green glow, makes this a solid and attractive furniture piece. It reminded us to the designs of Guy Lefevre for Maison Jansen, a designer whose style is chractrized by clean lines and a modern aesthetic, using materials such as brass, steel and glass. Lefevre’s designs combines elegance and symplicity, resulting in pieces that feel both classic and modern at once!
The console table has plenty of space to display objects, magazines or books. It will fit in various interior decors (minimal, art deco, modernist, classical). The frame has its original patina which belongs to vintage object like this.
